Studio Policies
Payments
-
Lesson fees must be paid in advance, either monthly, by term, or annually. Payments can be made via cash, e-transfer, or Stripe.
-
Invoices are due by the 1st of each month. Payments received after this date will incur a $25 late fee.
-
Costs for books, sheet music, or other materials will be added to your account. Please ensure all materials are stored in a binder or folder to keep them organized.
Scheduling
-
Lessons are scheduled weekly and will continue as planned on PA Days. Statutory Holidays are observed, and no lessons will take place on those dates.
-
Reserved lesson times are exclusive to each student. If you arrive late, the lesson will end at the scheduled time, as additional time cannot be accommodated.
Attendance & Cancellations
-
Missed lessons will not be refunded or credited unless exceptional circumstances apply. Prolonged illness or emergencies may be considered with prior discussion.
-
To cancel a lesson, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. If a student is sick, notify the teacher as soon as possible.
-
Missed lessons can sometimes be rescheduled, provided sufficient notice is given, and the lesson is rescheduled by the end of the month. Rescheduling is subject to the teacher’s availability.

Online Lesson Option
-
If a student feels unwell but is able to participate, lessons can be conducted online through Facetime, Zoom, or Skype.
-
For the safety of all, the teacher reserves the right to cancel or end in-person lessons if a student appears unwell.
Weather-Related Closures:
-
In cases of severe weather, you will be notified by text and email if the studio is closing. Online lessons will be offered as an alternative.
Teacher Absences
-
If the teacher is unavailable, a make-up lesson or other adjustment will be arranged.
Discontinuing Lessons
-
A minimum of one month’s notice is required to discontinue lessons. Any unpaid fees must be settled, and refunds will not be issued for unused lessons.
